Anna Kennedy joined the Seaman Band Department in the fall of 2010. She is a graduate of Kansas State University, receiving both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in 2007 and 2010, respectively. While at K-State, Mrs. Kennedy performed with and toured around the wold with multiple ensembles such as the Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, and the “Pride of Wildcatland” Marching Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Kennedy’s primary instrument is Horn and she is still an active performer with the Midwest Winds, Crossroads Wind Symphony, and various freelance opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a member of multiple professional and honorary organizations such as the Kansas Music Educators Association, Kansas National Education Association, Phi Beta Kappa, and the International Horn Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Kennedy enjoys spending time with her husband Owen, her children Cooper and Caroline, and 4-legged children Hank and Smokey.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Emory Dease joined the Seaman band program in the fall of 2011. Under his direction, the Seaman percussion ensemble has been selected to perform at the Kansas Music Educators Association convention in 2013 and 2014. The marching percussion section has received numerous awards and recognitions at local and national festivals. Mr. Dease spends his day educating all our percussion students in the Seaman District.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Cale Paquette is a graduate of Washburn University receiving his Bachelor’s of Music Education in 2018. Cale is not a stranger to Seaman, as he completed his Student Teaching within our district. Upon graduation, he moved to the west and earned his Master’s Degree in Saxophone Performance from The University of Northern Colorado in 2020.<\/p>\n

Cale’s primary focus at Seaman High School is as Director of our Jazz Program. In addition to those duties, he assists with the Marching Vikes, Symphonic Winds and Wind Ensemble, and visits Seaman Middle School to work with our woodwind sections.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>

Robert F. Rodriguez joined the Seaman High School staff in 2023. He started performing when he was just 11 years old. He attended K-State in 2012 where he would go on to play with The Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Concert Jazz Ensemble, Swing Machine and the Collegiate Choral. As a professional, he has performed with many greats in the music scene such as Howard Johnson, Don Most and Wayne Goins. In 2019 he was the drummer for Celebrity Cruises where he play various shows ranging from Broadway all the way to Jazz and Rock. While working as a performer, he started his own studio where he teaches percussion, theory and piano.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
